About the Artist

Karen Huckabone graduated from Indiana University in 1983 with a degree in Journalism. She spent her postgraduate year at the United States Olympic Training Center working as a writer and a photographer. Karen's photograph of the Olympic Ring Statue was used as one of the official postcards at the 1984 Summer Games. Other early photographs were published in the "OLYMPIAN" Magazine.

In 1984 Karen freelanced under the name Limiteditions, working for newspapers, advertising agencies and as a portrait photographer. Five years later, Karen opened Limiteditions Photography in Dayton, Ohio.

In 1995, Karen moved her studio to its home in South Lyon, Michigan. She continues to grow her business in southeast Michigan. Karen's enthusiasm, sincerity and a desire to create a lasting memory can be found in every portrait she creates. A careful blend of psychology, art and photographic technique give her work its signature style and a treasure to last for generations.

For over a decade, Limiteditions Photography has been creating beautiful custom portraiture for clients all over the United States. Limiteditions has evolved into an exciting, creative portrait studio offering personal service creating only the finest quality portraits for you and your family.
